Professional child photography means seeing the world from your baby`s perspective: In a literal sense I`ve done my job if I leave a photo session with soil, sand, and creatively discarded baby food on my clothes. My left brain gets its kicks at my day job in the accounting industry. When it`s time to let my hair down, I pick up my camera equipment and follow my baby`s lead. When he`s exploring, throwing, kicking, lifting, stuffing, and otherwise learning to negotiate his world, I`m capturing portraits that will preserve his personality forever. He`s happiest in a swing, spinning wheels or simply turning pages in board books – and I`m happiest when I create a once-in-a-lifetime image of his joy.
My goal is to tell an interesting story by using unique framing angles and make parents smile when they see compelling portraits of their children. I strive to reveal unique emotions, spirit and character. It warms my heart to hear that I was able to "freeze" special moments or convey funny expressions. You will find me frequenting playgrounds all over Manhattan documenting the most important people in my life – my family and dear friends.
